It has been a very busy beginning-of-the-year. Between December 2014 and January 2015, we have a mission team visited from Australia, ran a Christmas Outreach at our dormitory, formed and became part of the leadership team of a Christian Cafe & Student Ministry, accepted a new accounting client (a Christian dental mission group), and last but not least, we started a new series of Bible studies with our dorm students.
God has blessed our families with a short break after Christmas and some family time together. We have reenergized and ready for the new journey with God in 2015!
Please continue to pray for our family and our ministries, and our students. We have many photos to share below........
1. A team of 9 young adults from Australia visited in December 2014. They visited our students' dormitory and also their hometown (3 hours away from Phnom Penh) and lived in the village for 2 days. We had a good time together and able to spend time to share our work and the needs in Cambodia. Thank you for visiting us!

2. Christmas Outreach at our dormitory - Our students invited a few of their friends to our Christmas worship. Around 10 guests attended the worship and celebrated Christmas together. It was a great to see our students prepared and shared the good news of Jesus to others!

4. Christian Cafe & Student Ministries -- January is the official formation of the new leadership team (along with a Canadian missionary, a volunteer from Singapore and us) for a Christian Cafe with a mission to reach university student. Our main task is to restructure the business and the outreach ministry. We have spent most of the weekdays' morning at the cafe to discuss and work on various business strategies, policies, staffing, training and accounting matters. Although we have encountered numerous challenges, praise God that he gave us wisdom and patience to work on the issues one-by-one. During January and February, there will be a lot of changes in the cafe business area, as well as new activities in the cafe ministry. Please pray for open doors in cafe ministry towards students and mentoring staff (who are also students) at the same time.

5. God has opened doors since we started our Accounting Apprenticeship program. We now have another accounting client! The client is a Christian organization related to dental work. The fee earned are used to cover most of our apprentice's salary. We are very happy to have more opportunity to train our student apprentice and at the same time help Christian organizations to become more effective in their mission work. Please pray for us for our time management and mentoring our apprentice at the same time.

6. This year, we began a new series of Bible studies - Jesus' ministry with our students. We will be teaching through all four Gospels to help the students get to know Jesus' life on earth and also compare and contrast the record in the four Gospels. Please pray for us and our students for patience and faithfulness to continue the studies.

7. Joelle's class led the chapel at school last week. It is so encouraging to see the teachers from school, who are also missionaries, taught and served at school whole-heartedly.
