Jesus is Risen!
We want to share with you pictures of our Easter programs for our students at our Dormitory and Discipleship program. For the last 3 weeks, we have been studying the last week of Jesus' lives on earth and led to the Jesus died on the cross for us and risen after 3 days. Jesus' resurrection brings us assurance that we can go to the heaven with Him and have eternal life! Praise the Lord!

"A Purple Robe, A Crown of Thorn"
<< Saturday Fellowship >>
We have been watching clips from the movie "The Passion of Christ" after we finished studying the last few chapters of all four Gospels in the past 3 weeks.
Students were turning their heads away from the TV when Jesus was being bailed to the cross.

|~~~ Sunday Easter Service ~~~|
We encouraged our students to bring their friends to our Easter Service and we have 6 guests today. Today's message was to illustrate the resurrection events thru the four Gospels and encourage our students to "Follow Jesus" not just "know" Jesus --- as Jesus tell Peter to "Follow Me" in John 21:19.

Fellowship lunch after the Easter Service
Students made a traditional Khmer noodle dish. The noodle is like any Chinese rice noodle but the soup is a light chicken soup using a lot of different herbs and spices (looks like a yellow curry but without the curry).

Easter and the Irony of 3 Simple Words – Rest In Peace
In the past few days, it saddened me and troubled me very much to see so many brothers and sisters in Christ posted on their Facebook page these three simple words – Rest In Peace (RIP). It is troubling because these words were comments made in memory of the death of a famous politician that is certainly not a believer in Christ. If a person contributed greatly to society or to a country or even to the world but denied Jesus will have “peace” after they died, it makes what Jesus did on the cross totally meaningless. We prayed that all of us can find the true meaning of Christ’s death and resurrection; and also we all learn how to apply God’s word in our daily lives and situations.
