#56 - Happy Chinese New Year and our 2016 updates

#1 - Praise God for the 41 students He sent to us. We are very thankful for all the students who are willing to join our program, but at the same time, we are also “nervous” about how to care for all of them. 

  ***Please pray for us for our energy and wisdom to serve all the students, teach them about the Word from the Bible, and how they should obey His word live a Godly lives each day.

Praise God for all the students that He entrusted us with in the Discipleship and Dormitory Program this year!

#2 - Week night Bible Study -- We start to study the Book of John in January! The goal are for the students to learn Jesus (after we studied Book of Matthew last year) and build an appetite of reading the Bible each day.  

***Please pray for our students to truly believe in God and know His word more day by day, and our students will have an appetite of reading the Bible.

#3 - Sunday Worship -- We also began to study the Book of Romans during worship every Sunday.  We are going at it very slowly as we want our students to fully understand Paul's teachings.  Currently we are half way through  chapter one after 3 weeks.  

***Pray for Thomas that he can speak with truth and clarity to the student about Apostle Paul and his teaching; also our students to become doer of His words.

#4 - Outreach Youth Camp:  In April 2016, we will partner with our student’s home church to host an Outreach Youth Camp at their hometown for 3 days and 2 nights. We are anticipating about 150 high-school students to attend. Our goal is to reach more young people in the village and give a clear presentation of the Gospel and how to become a true follower of Christ.  

*** Please pray for this upcoming Outreach Youth Camp for its planning & the funds to support the event. 

*** Please pray for our students for this upcoming outreach event, as we will be training them from January to April to become the group leaders and song leaders for the camp to share the Gospel together.
